QUO
A downloadable game for Windows
A first-person dystopian sci fi-liminal adventure inspired by The Backrooms. In this mission you are QUO, an autonomous robot explorer. Trace, probe and delve into an unexplored reality full of enigmas and dangers. Now it's your turn.
ABOUT THIS GAME
A Y2K Research Group [a systemic bug affecting computer equipment due to the millennium change in the year 2000] accidentally opened a portal to the Backrooms. Your mission is now focused on exploring, identifying and securing this unknown area and minimising the possible consequences of the other side of this reality on our own.
Your objective is to enter the portal to The Backrooms at the controls of QUO, the autonomous robot explorer charged with this mission.
You will report to two agents: Agent Dana, in charge of the engineering unit. She herself implemented the new system for sending and receiving samples. And Agent Fox, the biologist investigating the unusual behaviour of the hives that have begun to spread through level 0.
Others have accepted this mission before you and have not returned. That was the fate that befell the first squad that raided the area. Their whereabouts are unknown, they lost connection with the headquarters and it is unknown whether they are dead or alive. Since that incident, only autonomous robots have had access to the area. Now it's your turn.
A dystopian first-person adventure inspired by The Backrooms that mixes liminal spaces and science fiction.

Demo left me wanting so so much more of this!! Can't wait for the final product. Do you guys have an ETA for release??
Hello Robertt! Thank you for your words, it made my day. 🤍
No official release date has been announced yet but we will be doing it that year. [We hope to launch in 2024 🤞].
Cheers!
Hi Artigame! Thanks for sharing your gameplay! 💛
Cheers!
Glad you liked it, we are very happy! Thanks for playing.
Cheers! 🤍
I really enjoyed the game! To be honest, the training rooms with these big vents seemed the most liminal to me...
We love the atmosphere of the training room too. In the full game there will be more spaces with that environment, we hope you like it .
Cheers! 🤍
Gave the demo a Let's Play, has pretty cool Entities, would definitely wanna see a lot more spooky/deadly entities :p
Thanks for playing and for your feedback Neco The Sergal! 🤍
Cheers!
Loved the original premise for this, and the game looks and feels really clean to play. Not sure how well the Backrooms fits as scenery, but had fun playing this one. Feels like there's a lot of room to continue with an original and deep story here, too. Looking forward to seeing more!
Thank you very much for your kind words, FuzzyTDT! We are very happy that you liked it.
Cheers! 🤍
Thank you very much for sharing your gameplay, Beef Gravy Studios. We're glad you liked it 🤍
Cheers!
The game's ambiance is atmospheric and the premise is original. The point of view of a robot in such a setting gives you a greater sense of helplessness in liminal environments and how they make use of the flashlight is clever as well.
The story seems interesting and mysterious. Two agents talk to us as we explore and we must find out what happened to the previous crew. I definitely want to know more.
Thanks for playing Green Reptilian 🤍
